Cascina Bongiovanni Dolcetto d'Alba 2017 Bottle:1 for 16/18 monthsThe Bongiovanni is a pretty wine showing lots of dark jammy fruit. A few stray violet flavors give it some added complexity but overall a pleasant food wine. Purple red in color with fruity aromas mix with the toasted notes of wood, resulting in something like cherries in alcohol and chocolate. Aromas of blueberries and chocolate follow through to a full body and a fruity finish. Lots of fruit and flavor.
